A case of swine flu occurred in Israel for the first time, and strangely the virus showed resistance to the drug Tamiflu. A spokeswoman confirmed this for the Israeli Health Ministry.
In the laboratory, the resistant virus type H1N1 was detected in a man who belonged to one of the risk groups. He was, however, now fully recovered.
Sporadic resistance already existed in other countries. According to earlier information of Tamiflu manufacturer Roche, this is normal. For example, step on the seasonal flu, a share of 0.4 percent resistance.
